Hi there! I'm Jacob Mercer, a photographer and videographer based in Savannah, Georgia. For five years I've shot supercars, bikes, aircraft, events, architecture, coastlines, and city work that fills the space between race weekends. — I specialize in capturing the unique beauty of life's fleeting moments, Camera, cinema rig, and FAA-licensed drone, all from one operator.
By 2021 I was on the road most weekends, running car events across Georgia and the Carolinas and learning what separates a decent shot from one a client actually wants on their wall. A lot of early call times, a lot of bad weather, a lot of frames that didn't work — which is how you find the ones that do.
Since then I've worked with Porsche, AutoNation, Hagerty, and SCAD, covered the Daytona 500 and Concours d'Elegance at Amelia Island, Hilton Head, and Pebble Beach, and documented everything from student-built concept cars to the Blue Angels. I shoot aircraft for a brokerage that sends me wherever the plane is — two-seaters, jets, seaplanes, whatever's on the block.
